Omss -- More than 1,800 people have already answered the call to support our vital work to save wolves in Idaho and Wyoming. The response has been amazing, so now we are going to also step up pressure on Wildlife Services to ensure that they do not become de facto, taxpayer-funded wolf killers in these states. If you haven't already, please consider supporting our plan to save wolves and other efforts to protect the wildlife you cherish. Thanks, Rodger |

Dear Omss, It's been a bad week for wolves. Governor Mead of Wyoming -- with the blessing of Interior Secretary Ken Salazar -- announced plans to eliminate two thirds of the wolves in Wyoming. And Idaho plans to kill hundreds more. Please donate now to support our rapid response efforts to fight these terrible wolf-killing plans and save the lives of wolves in Greater Yellowstone and the Northern Rockies. Just months ago, Congress handed the fate of Greater Yellowstone wolves to the states. Now Idaho and Wyoming are bowing to anti-wolf extremists with over-the-top plans that may have a tremendous impact on wolf recovery across the West. Make no mistake: Hundreds of wolves in these states could be killed. Wolves that wander beyond the safety of Yellowstone National Park could be shot. Recovery of these magnificent animals in Oregon, Washington, Colorado and other parts of their historic range could be sabotaged. Please donate now to support our rapid response plan to save wolves and other efforts to protect the wildlife and wild places you cherish. Your support will help Defenders...
We need to raise $50,000 in the next few days to support our action plan to help wolves in Greater Yellowstone and the Northern Rockies. We can reach this goal if just 2,000 people across the country can make a donation of $25 or more. Will you help? It only takes one person to make a difference. Please donate now to support our efforts to ensure a sustainable future for wolves and other imperiled wildlife. For the Wild Ones,
