Dear Omss,
This is it.
This week, Idaho officials are finalizing a hunting and trapping season that could claim the lives of hundreds of wolves.
Defenders is redoubling our efforts to save wolves in Idaho, and we need your help. Make a tax-deductible donation to support our efforts.
Right now, three generous members of our Board of Directors are willing to match your donation dollar-for-dollar to ensure that we can do twice as much to ensure a brighter future for wolves in the Northern Rockies and Greater Yellowstone.
Donate now to have your wolf-saving gift matched dollar-for-dollar by our generous board members.
With your help, we can…
- Motivate Idahoans who support wolves to advocate for stronger monitoring and protections to reduce the number of wolves that are needlessly killed. Donate now to help.
- Prevent Wildlife Services, a federal agency funded by your tax dollars, from needlessly killing wolves. Donate now to help.
- Educate the public, media and government officials on the important role that wolves play in balancing local ecosystems. Donate now to help.
- Work with local ranchers to implement non-lethal wolf deterrents to keep wolves away from livestock… and out of harm’s way. Donate now to help.
- And much, much more to help save wolves in Idaho and other imperiled wildlife. Donate now to help.
Tens of thousands of people have already spoken out against the reckless hunts and trapping. Thousands more have called out Idaho officials on the bogus survey they tried to use to justify their plans.
But we can’t stop now if we’re going to stem the tide of anti-wolf sentiment in Idaho and protect these magnificent animals. Please help…
With Gratitude, | Rodger Schlickeisen Executive Vice President Defenders of Wildlife | P.S. Please make a secure donation online now or contribute by phone by calling 1-800-385-9712. Only gifts received by September 15, 2011 will be doubled up to a total of $150,000… |
