 | | | Over the past several months of spring and summer, Zoo Atlanta has played host to thousands of local visitors and travelers from around the world for days of fun and learning. With the arrivals of our new Sumatran tiger cubs, Po the giant panda cub, and a brand-new baby giraffe, there are more reasons than ever to make a trip to one of our citys oldest and most beloved cultural institutions. But for some members of our community, something that many of us take for granted a day at the Zoo is out of reach. We believe Zoo Atlanta should be available to everyone. With this principle in mind, weve created several important initiatives to increase community access to the Zoo, annually serving thousands of individuals who might otherwise have been unable to benefit from our animals, mission and programs. With children across Georgia returning for a new school year, now is the time to consider the importance of the Zoo experience, particularly to those most limited by lack of resources. In all that we know Zoo Atlanta means to the lives of students and their families throughout the state, we have amazing experiences to share experiences too vital, memorable and educational to be available only to those who can afford them, and particularly as we see students struggling in science education. You can help us share the Zoo with more Georgians this year by making a gift to support ongoing accessibility initiatives at Zoo Atlanta. Thank you for all that you do to help bring the Zoo you love to everyone in our community. Find our more about our community access programs and make a gift today.
Sincerely,
Raymond B. King President and CEO P.S. Be sure to visit us soon to see our new Sumatran tiger cubs and giraffe calf! | | You agreed to be sent content of this nature from us. You may change your contact preferences if you'd like to opt-out.
