Memorial Day

Weekend at the Zoo!

May 27-30

 fountain

Memorial Day Weekend is a great time to visit the Zoo. During this exciting weekend, the Zoo will kick off the summer programs which include the Kangaroo Kountry Walkabout, Sea Lion training, the Wildlife Show and Predator Zone daily.

The Zoo also has new additions you'll want to check out. White Stork chicks are here at the Zoo so stop by to visit them. Also, two new giraffes, Zuri and Keyara are in the savanna area and can be seen upclose during giraffe feedings. The Gator Swamp has been renovated and welcomes back Wally the Gator. Wally is fed daily so be sure to get a schedule of the days activities when you get here. You won't want to miss that!

And don't forget about Trails of Africa, the Zoo's new signature exhibit. It is the only exhibit in the world featuring a herd of soley African Bull elephants. Come watch them explore their surroundings in the main yard. Kids will enjoy the Boma Play Area featuring African drums, a larger than life Termite Mound and over sized Dung Beetles. It's fun for the whole family!
